At Sigga and Timo you participate in continuous process; we design, make, display and sell the jewellery in our workshop. We do our best to create an ambience where the jewellery, shop design, service and your view of the goldsmith´s work melt into unity.

In our view a piece of jewellery is a designer’s idea, turned into and enduring piece, which the owner assimilates and wears. It represents the owner’s personality and emphasises hers or his feelings, important decisions or life-long memories. 

To us, designing and making jewellery creates joy. To achieve this, we try to understand to the person who wears our jewellry. Our jewellery is not only culmination of our work, but also a lifestyle. We are at the customers’ service in the shop or while working.

Innovative and skillful design… beautiful design

Jewellry is meant to combine beauty and elegance, be it simple or complex in design. Luckily, each person’s concept of beauty and taste is very personal. Our task is to accept this challenge with a smile.

We make jewellery as bespoke pieces or in series; for example earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets, each based on a main idea for the design.

We learn… while we live…

Making jewellery is a trade that developes fast and we participate in this development. We are very proud to have been able to fuse Icelandic and Finnish traditions in this field. We keep close contact with friends and colleagues in Finland and the United States who share our passion and desire to be innovative. Yet another dimension to our work is the teaching of Icelandic jewellery design students.

Living in Iceland has given us the opportunity to develope and thrive in our work. We have not only been well received but we also receive valuable suggestions and requests from customers. They often take part in the design of specially-created pieces. This gives each piece the personal touch and both we and the customer have strong ownership of the work.
